How can Hilton eradicate bias and barriers for female talents that hinder advancement to a managerial position, specifically within the Food&Beverage Departments?

At Hilton, we are diverse by nature and inclusive by choice. This can be seen by Hilton being inducted into DiversityInc’s Hall of Fame. Within Hilton, we have a strong desire to have a gender parity in all Leadership roles by 2027, meaning 50:50 (women/men). And whilst we are super proud of all our achievements and recognition thus far, we still feel that we could do even more. In various departments we already surpassed this objective, however within specific teams, including Food & Beverage, this is still a challenge - particularly across our EMEA regions.  

So here is our challenge: How can Hilton eradicate bias and barriers for female talents that hinder advancement to a managerial position, specifically within the Food&Beverage Departments?

  • What challenges do women often come across within F&B related leadership roles and how can we best overcome these?
  • What recommendations would your Team have for Hilton to reach a gender parity within these leadership roles in the next years…?
