Radisson Hotel Group

Stenden Firecrackers

How can Radisson make ‘Net Zero’?

Involving guests in aiding the Radisson group to achieve ‘Net Zero’ through rewarding guests via a point system as this motivates guests to be more aware of the energy they use and to be more environmentally conscious.

Al tracking in guests' room that will track the amount of energy and resources used by guests during their stay, this data will be added onto the guest’s profile on the hotels' property management system. A points system will be developed to allocate points in correlation to the number of resources used – the less resources used; the more points guests will receive. These points will be loaded onto the guest’s loyalty card and when enough points are collected, guests will be able to decide between a free stay at any Radisson Hotel or the points can be converted into money that will be donated to SOS Children’s Villages. The points collected by guests can be managed and viewed by an app that will be designed for the Radisson Group where guests can see how many points are needed for different rewards. This initiative will encourage guests to aid the Radisson Group in reaching ‘Net Zero’ as guests will be rewarded or give back to society by donating to SOS Children’s Villages.
